Dr Chang's practice is accredited to the standards of ISO 9001: 2015 - Core Standards for Safety and Quality in Healthcare. This is a very rigorous and exhaustive standard of accreditation that is well known all over the world.
The ISO (International Standard of Standardization) is a worldwide federation of national standards bodies. Dr Chang believes it is important that his practice complies to the high standard and in 2010, the practice underwent accreditation with ISO. This involved an external accreditor carefully inspecting all aspects of the policies and procedure of the practice over a three day period. At the end of that, the practice was successful in achieving accreditation. Dr Chang's Obstetric and Gynaecology and IVF practice is one of only a few specialist practices in Queensland accredited to the standards set out in ISO 9001.
The practice is also accredited by the National Association of Testing Authorities (NATA). The practice is certified to have met the Accreditation Standards of the Diagnostic Imaging Accreditation Scheme (2010) for Ultrasound.
