Mater Hospital, located at 21-37 Fulham Road, Pimlico, is where some procedures are occasionally performed, depending on the patient’s medical or surgical condition the services of other specialists or the use of the Intensive Care Unit maybe required.
Townsville Day Surgery,1 Martinez Avenue, West End is where fertility procedures, such as oocyte (egg) retrieval, take place. Some gynaecological procedures are also performed here.
Mater Women’s and Children’s Hospital is located directly beside Dr Chang’s rooms at 12-14 Oxford Street. This is the only private maternity hospital in Townsville, gynaecological procedures are also performed at this hospital.
The Townsville Hospital, located in Douglas, is the major public hospital for Townsville and surrounding districts. This hospital is the home of the Neo Natal Intensive Care Unit for North Queensland.
