Dr Chang visits all his patients in hospital every day. We encourage you to talk to him about your labour and the birth of your baby. He understands this is a different experience for every woman and he is happy to answer any question and discuss any concerns.
After you have gone home from hospital Dr Chang would normally see you when the baby is 6 weeks old for a post natal visit, to ensure that you have recovered well. Dr Chang is particularly mindful of the demands placed on a new mother and is always concerned about post natal stress. Dr Chang will discuss appropriate contraception, if required. And we again encourage you to use this opportunity to discuss any issues or concerns that you may have with regards to your labour and birth of your baby.
